Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Carls of Port Byron, IL grew up working with western performance horses. He graduated with a B.A. in biology from Augustana College and then earned a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois, College of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2009. Deke joined the team at Oakwood Veterinary Service in June of 2009. His professional interests are in equine medicine and surgery.
