Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Jerry grew up on a grain and livestock farm south of Vincennes, where his family are fifth generation farmers. He has five siblings: his three sisters are teachers,hisbrothers farm the family farm.He graduated from South Knox High School in 1984. He received his Bachelors of Science in Agriculture in 1988 and his DVM in 1991 from Purdue University.He married Dr. Karen in 1991 and they purchased Spring Mill Veterinary Service in September of 1993.He became a Diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners in Beef Cattle Practice in 2000. He is actively involved intheLawrence,OrangeandWashingtonCounty 4H and Cattlemens programs as well as the local Humane Societies.Jerry is also a member of the Bedford Masonic Lodge and President / General Manager of the Springville Feeder Auction Association Board of DirectorsDr. Jerry and Dr. Karen have two English Cocker Spaniels named Karma and Disco and a cat named Miss Ellie.He enjoys reading, traveling, and gardening. He loves to run 5Ks and half marathons. He is an avid Boilermakers, Colts, Celtics, Bruins and Red Sox fan.
