Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Karen grew up in a suburb of Boston, Massachusetts. She has three brothers and graduated from Concord-Carlisle High School in 1983. She received her Bachelors of Arts in Biology in 1987 from Bucknell University and her DVM in 1991 from Purdue University.She married Dr. Jerry in 1991 and they purchased Spring Mill Veterinary Service in September of 1993.She currently serves on the Lawrence County Health Board and is actively involved with the local Humane Societies.Dr. Jerry and Dr. Karen have two English Cocker Spaniels Karma and Disco and a cat named Miss Ellie.Dr. Karen has competed in canine obedience and agility trials. She enjoys reading, traveling, and baking. She ran 5ks, half marathons and full marathons completing theCincinnati, New York, Chicago, Indianapolis and Boston Marathons.
