Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Groan was born and raised in Monroe, LA. She received her Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences from Louisiana Tech University in 1998. She then attended Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine along with her twin sister, Tara. They graduated in 2001 and both returned to practice in the Monroe area. She has been certified in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicines including Acupuncture, Herbal and Food Therapy. Dr. Groan especially loves cats, and has a special interest in feline medicine. She enjoys country life with her husband, two daughters, and a plethora of pets!
