Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Amstalden grew up in Long Island, New York. She got her B.A. in Biology at New York University in 1995 before attending Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts. She finished her senior clinical year at Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine in January 2001. In 2007 she moved to Baltimore, MD and opened Belvedere Veterinary Center in 2011. She is a member of AVMA, AAHA, and is USDA accredited. At Belvedere Veterinary Center she provides full service wellness, medical and surgical care, with an emphasis on nutrition, weight management, dermatology, soft tissue surgery, and ophthalmology. Dr. Amsalden loves to hike, sing, plant vegetables in her garden, and spend time with her friends and family. She currently lives in Baltimore City with her husband and rescued dog, Paprika.
