Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Distler received his Bachelor of Science degree from Washington College summa cum laude in 1996, with a major in Biology and a minor in English. He obtained his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the Virginia Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. A native of the area, Dr. Distler returned to practice at Dunkirk Animal Hospital shortly after graduation. Dr. Distler divides his time between medical duties and managing the clinic. He has interests in dentistry and soft tissue surgery. Dr. Distler divides his days away from work between his family, playing lacrosse, woodworking, and entertaining his dog.
