Gary Stuer, D.V.M.... he treats all his patients like theyare part of his family..."I chose veterinary medicine because I care about petsand the people who love them. I share my home with onedog (Miya) and two cats (YumYum and Kiki), so Iunderstand the special bond that forms when pets aremembers of the family. After more than twenty five years,I still love being a veterinarian. My clients appreciatethe individual attention I give their pets and the way Itreat each animal as if it were my own. Your pet deservesthat level of care."I graduated from Tufts Veterinary School in 1987, but myeducation hasn't stopped there. I regularly attendseminars to stay current on new technologies andimproved treatments for pets. I have studied severalcomplementary methods of treating patients and haveintegrated them into my practice. In 2004, I was certifiedin Veterinary Acupuncture by the International VeterinaryAcupuncture Society (IVAS) and completed Reiki MasterTraining. In 2014, I completed IVAS certification in Chinese Herbal Medicine as well. I am also on the staff of Portland Veterinary Specialists where I practice Integrative Medicine with a team of Board Certified Specialists.
