Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Thall has been working at the Down Maine Veterinary Clinic since 1999. Her love of animals began as a child growing up with dogs, cats, horses, goats, chickens and a pet iguana, splitting her time between Long Island and a farm in Upstate, NY.After graduating from Smith College in Massachusetts, she earned her DVM from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1994. Having spent many family vacations here, as well as a summer at Shoals Marine Laboratory, on Appledore Island, Maine became her home in 1995.She began working at the Down Maine Veterinary Clinic after her first daughter was born. Now the mother of four children, she is happy to continue working part time. She loves to meet new pets and the people who love them and help them with their preventative health care needs.She especially enjoys working with the wonderful staff at the Down Maine Veterinary Clinic.In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, skiing, playing board games, reading, and being on Cliff Island in Casco Bay.
