Veterinarian Overview
Dr Nikitas is originally from Western Massachusetts. She attended Syracuse University for her undergraduate degrees in Biology and French. She received her veterinary degree from the Atlantic Veterinary College in Prince Edward Island, Canada. Veterinary Medicine and preventive care are incredibly important to her, as is strengthening the human-animal bond through education and discussion. A lifelong New Englander, she greatly enjoys living in Southern Maine. She is an avid lover of the Arts and Music scene, a year-round beach-walker and a fairly good downhill skier. She is hoping to tackle snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and possibly even skijoring! Her other hobbies include knitting and gardening. She shares her life with her husband, her step-daughter and two mutts named Cosmo and Kramer and three old cats named Otis, Olivia and Froid and one young trouble-maker cat named Fritz.
