Veterinarian Overview
Carol Wolff developed her love for animals while growing up on a dairy farm in central Pennsylvania. She graduated from the University of Maryland, in College Park with a BS in zoology and went on to graduate school at the University of Colorado where she earned an MS in exercise physiology. After graduate school Dr. Wolff managed a hospital based ?tness center at Hershey Medical Center in Hershey Pennsylvania, but her passion for animals eventually led her to veterinary medical school in Madison, Wisconsin where she earned her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Post-vet school training included a rigorous internship in small animal medicine, surgery and emergency medicine at the Veterinary Specialists of Rochester, New York. She practiced veterinary medicine in both New York City and Vermont prior to moving to Maine with her husband in 2000. Dr. Wolff works at the Animal Emergency Clinic to satisfy her love of emergency medicine. She also works once a week at the Ridge Animal Hospital in Sanford.Dr. Wolff enjoys reading, yoga, Derby Lite (a roller-skating class), Punk Rope ( a jump roping class), cross-country skiing, running with her dogs and taking long walks with her husband, their 3 dogs and (in the summer) Ruby, their rescued Cockatoo. She also shares her house with 5 cats.
