Dr. Feyerabend joined Hidden Valley Animal Hospital as a Blue Springs, MO native. Dr. Feyerabend completed his undergraduate education in animal sciences at the University of Missouri. Having developed a liking for Columbia and being a Missouri tiger, he continued his education at the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine. While in veterinary school, Dr. Feyerabend served as President of his Class for all 4 years. Dr. Feyerabend's particular areas of interest include orthopedics, soft tissue surgery, dentistry, and pain management, though he enjoys all of the variety and opportunity general veterinary practice brings, Dr. Feyerabend strives to use his medical knowledge and surgical skill to facilitate the longest, happiest, healthiest, and most pain free life possible for each pet. For leisure, Dr. Feyherabend enjoys fishing, hunting, hiking, and spending time with his wife, Marci, a veterinarian herself. Together they have 3 dogs, Tally, Lei Lei, and Smudge. The Feyerabends have traveled to the Dominican Republic with veterinary relief projects that provide much needed veterinary care to the dogs, both stray and owned living in third world conditions. On two of these trips they brought back dogs (Lei Lei and Smudge) to keep and give a loving home. The Feyerabends are enjoying being parents to their cute new son Luke.
