Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Diane Donaldson is a native of Meridian and began working at Till-Newell Animal Hospital in 1976 and continued as a part time employee until 1982. In 1985 she graduated from Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine and joined the United States Air Force. She was then commissioned as an Environmental Health Officer. After her initial training at Brooks Air Force Base School of Aerospace Medicine she was stationed at Carswell Air Force Base, Ft. Worth Texas from 1985-1989. During this time she also worked as a small animal practioner at Town and Country Veterinary Hospital. After leaving her active duty assignment she joined the 20th Medical Service Squadron as an Air Force Reserve Officer and assumed a full time position as the primary veterinarian at Town and Country Veterinary Hospital. Upon Dr. Tills retirement in 1991, Dr. Donaldson returned to Till-Newell Animal Hospital to pursue her career in small animal medicine and surgery. She also continued her military career as a member of the Mississippi Air National Guard 186th Medical Group as the Public Health Officer. She has treasured her years back in Meridian and returning home to her Till-Newell family. In 2008 she retired from her military career but has continued her veterinary career serving the needs of her clients. Dr. Donaldsons special interest includes wildlife rehabilitation and time spent with her four legged babies.
