Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Lauren Abdelmessih has been a general practitioner at Boulevard Veterinary Clinic since August of 2009. Her career working with animals actually began when she worked as a veterinary technician in Matawan during the year between college and veterinary school. Dr. Abdelmessih earned her undergraduate degree from Cornell University in animal science in 2004 (having graduated magna cum laude) and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. During veterinary school, she was a member of the Phi Zeta Veterinary Honor Society. Today, Dr. Abdelmessih has professional interests in internal medicine and nutrition, and she stays current on advancements in veterinary medicine through her membership in the American Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Abdelmessih shares her home with her husband and her dog, Jackson, and enjoys traveling, baking and reading.
