Veterinarian Overview
Dr Alexia Tsakiris, BVetMed, GDipVWHM, CVA, was born and raised on the Jersey shore in Monmouth Beach. She received her B.S. from Cook College, Rutgers University in 2000 and graduated with her BVetMed from the Royal Veterinary College in London in 2005. Since graduation, she has worked as a small animal veterinarian focusing on internal medicine. After being awaked by an acupuncture lecture at a veterinary conference in 2008, by the prospect of being able to further help her patients, she trained at the Chi Institute in Florida where she received her Certificate of Veterinary Acupuncture in 2009. This awakening has opened her world to many other holistic modalities.
