Veterinarian Overview
After graduating cum laude from the Auburn University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1990, Dr. Doyle served as an equine intern at the University of Missouri and completed a three-year surgical residency at the Marion duPont Scott Equine Medical Center. She remained at the Center as a Clinical Instructor, teaching courses in nuclear imaging and surgery, as well as directing the nuclear scintigraphy department. In 1998 Dr. Doyle completed her Master's degree in Equine Surgery and in 2001 she became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons. Dr. Doyle has been published in surgery textbooks and veterinary journals on chemotherapeutics for skin tumors and diagnostic results of arthroscopic surgery on osteochondral lesions in the shoulder joint of horses. Dr. Doyle's special interests include emergency abdominal surgery and lameness evaluation, including associated diagnostic and therapeutic approaches such as nuclear scintigraphy, radiology, ultrasonography, MRI, regenerative medicine and ultrasound guided treatments.
