Veterinarian Overview
Rebecca Stock was raised on a small farm in rural upstate New York. Her love for animals was cultivated by this experience, which lead her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. She received a BS in biomedical engineering at the University of Rochester in upstate New York before going on to veterinary school. Dr. Stock graduated veterinary school at Iowa State University with honors. She also completed a small animal internship at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in New Jersey. When attending veterinary school in Iowa, Rebecca rescued her Papillion mix, Tucker and her cat, Digby. Her cat Hope and her German Shepherd puppy Stella are the two most recent additions. Stella is training for obedience trials and will start competing this spring. Dr. Stock continues to help her parents at their farm doing various tasks for them such as bailing hay, and riding her horse Tulsa. In her spare time, Dr. Stock enjoys hiking, Dressage, skiing (both cross country and downhill), cooking, baking, and running. Her last race was the Philadelphia Marathon.
