Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Tanner obtained her DVM from Purdue University in 1984. Growing up in Indianapolis, she was fascinated with all kinds of animals, so it seemed only natural for her to go into veterinary medicine. She began her professional career in rural Minnesota at a mixed animal practice, eventually transitioning to equine medicine. Dr. Tanner later moved to New York state for equine practice, and opened Wood Hill Veterinary Clinic in 1994. In 2016, she sold the clinic to Dr. Mike Delliere. For Dr. Tanner, the most rewarding part of being a veterinarian is successfully diagnosing and treating a patient, which in turn helps the humans involved. Her hobbies include riding horses, gardening, traveling, and walking her dogs. She also owns cats, horses, and goats!
