Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Tim Vleuten grew up in East Rochester and received his BS in Biology from St John Fisher College, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 1983. He received his veterinary degree from The New York State College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University in 1987. Dr. Vleuten practiced in several animal hospitals around the Rochester area before joining Dr. Dyroff as co-owner of the County Line Animal Hospital in 1992. He enjoys treating our animal patients both medically and surgically, as well as getting to meet and know their owners. Most of our clients know him as Dr. Tim. His level of experience, patience, and dedication ensure that your pets will have the best possible care. In addition to treating our clients pets, Dr. Tim supports the fight against pet overpopulation along with all our staff, and partners with various agencies to perform spay/neuter surgeries on stray and surplus animals and for low income spay programs. When not practicing veterinary medicine, Dr. Tim enjoys playing ice hockey, scuba diving, playing guitar, traveling, and enjoying the antics of his own pets.
