Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Ostreich is a native Long Islander originally from Plainview. She spent her first three years of veterinary school on the beautiful island of St. Kitts at Ross University then returned to the states to spend her clinical year in Ithaca at Cornell University. Before receiving her DVM she was a licensed veterinary technician working in Emergency, Internal Medicine, ICU/Critical Care, and Exotics medicine at many of the specialty hospitals on Long Island. Dr. Ostreichs interests include small animal medicine and surgery as well as exotic animal medicine. She currently lives with her many dogs and cats as well as her 2 blue and gold macaws, Kiwi and Angel.
