Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Polehinke is a native Long Islander who graduated Stony Brook University with a BS in Biology. Later, he graduated Cornell Veterinary School in 1992 and worked at various animal hospitals on Long Island, including his own, for ten years. He enjoys surgery, pain management, and behavior. He lives in East Meadow with his wife and five kids (Three 2-legged and Two 4-legged). Dr. P enjoys softball, skiing, music, playing the trumpet, and anything involving the ocean. In particular, he is an advocate for helping clean the ocean environment for marine animals.
