Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Lynda Loudon is the Director of Operations at our Commack location. She graduated from Ross University in 2003 and completed a 1 year small animal internship at Atlantic Coast Veterinary Specialists. She went on to serve as Chief of Emergency and intern director at one of Long Islands largest Emergency and Referral Centers for 10 years. She was then Medical Director for Nassau-Suffolk Animal Hospital for 2 years before joining the team at Animal Emergency Services. Dr. Loudon is also the founder and president of Healing Haven Animal Fund, a 501 C3 non-profit organization dedicated to helping animals in need receive the urgent medical care they need and deserve.Doctor Loudons medical interests include trauma, surgery and critical care. Helping patients through the most challenging medical situations is where her passion lies. She also has interest in holistic healing, Reiki and healing through nutrition.Dr. Loudon lives on the North Shore of Long Island with her husband (also a veterinarian), her two young boys, two dogs and a cat. Her favorite activities include yoga, running, painting, and writing.
