Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Kate Hallquest was a valued SAH team member for years before and during veterinary medical school and has now returned as an experienced clinician. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Stonehill College in 2008 and her DVM degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2013, after completing her year of clinical training at Louisiana State University. Dr. Hallquest then went on to complete a rigorous one-year rotating internship at Fifth Avenue Veterinary Specialists in New York. She also spent three years practicing in Brooklyn, NY, before returning to Somers Animal Hospital in 2017. Dr. Hallquest shares her home with her husband and their two dogs, Kane and Cheza.
