Veterinarian Overview
Shannon James, DVM is a Westchester native who earned her DVM degree from University of Tennessee in 2011. Following graduation, she worked in a busy small animal practice in Austin, TX. As a full-time Bond staff veterinarian, Dr. James works closely with Dr. McKenzie to ensure that our patients receive seamless care. She has a special interest in exotic pets, dermatology, surgery and internal medicine. She lives with her two Chihuahuas, Sassy and Mira, and Jack, a lab-mix. Outside of work she enjoys horseback riding, hiking and spending time with family and friends.
