Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Liz Sobol has been a part of the Gateway Animal Clinic team for 14 years! A life-long Ohio native, she was raised in Beachwood and now resides in Solon. After completing undergraduate studies at Northwestern University in Illinois (1988), Dr. Sobol pursued a DVM degree at Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine (1998). Before joining us, she also practiced at Roberts & Wendt Animal Hospital in Cleveland.When not at work, Dr. Sobol enjoys hanging out with her two children, watching movies and television, and staying active through yoga and jogging. She loves spending time her dog (Toto) and two cats (Silvio and Vincent), who were all adopted through Gateway Animal Clinic. She has a passion for working with rescue and shelter animals, and likes being able to work with clients who have limited finances or other obstacles to overcome, to ensure quality veterinary care for their pets.
