Veterinarian Overview
Family and animals have always played important roles in Dr.Alyssa Wood's life, and shes found a way to keep both close to her heart by returning to Martins Ferry and opening her own veterinary practice. As a young student at St. Mary Central in Martins Ferry and at St. John Central in Bellaire, Dr. Woods childhood was filled with family, friends and pets in a caring, friendly small town community. She is a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine and received two undergraduate degrees a BS in Biology and a BS in Equine Management from Salem International University in West Virginia. Since 2008, Dr. Wood has worked in Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati, Ohio. She is happy to be home once again in the Ohio Valley.
