I can't recommend her enough! She's taken care of 4 of our pets for a long time with compassion and she gives us a senior discount. She helped us with end-of-life for our 16 1/2-year-old dog with chronic health problems and out 14 1/2-year-old cat with renal failure, which she taught us to treat at home, extending his life another two years with "kitty kidney dialysis." She comforted us in our grief despite her busy office. Since then, she's been taking care of our younger dog and cat that we got after or beloved old friends died. She has always listened and taken good care of our pets.
I've had other vets in the past, and never received the quality of knowledge as I do with Dr. Hess. I've been with her for many years, and am so grateful my fur babies have her for a doctor. She truly cares about the animal and it shows through her care and affordable pricing. She doesn't jump for you for expensive testing (unless absolutely necessary) because of the years of knowledge she has. She truly is a blessing to all the critters,and their parents for all those reasons.
She is an excellent example of how a veterinarian should be and how they charge.
