Veterinarian Overview
Since graduating from the University of Missouri in 1995, Dr. Bill has been practicing strictly companion animal medicine in the greater Des Moines Area. His wife, Mandy, is a Veterinary Pathologist and instructor at the ISU College of Veterinary Medicine. They live in Ames with their 2 children, Laurel and William, 1 dog, Georgia, 1 horse, Emmitt, 2 cats, Spock and Kirk, and a handsome Red-lored Amazon who sometimes answers to the name Pumpkin. When he finds time outside of practice and family, Dr. Bill enjoys landscaping for exercise, gardening for stress relief, fishing, golfing poorly, and committee work with the IVMA.
