Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Borthwick was raised on a small farm in Solebury. After receiving his bachelors degree from Boston College, he lived in Colorado for several years skiing, snowboarding, performing music, hiking, camping, mountain biking, white water kayaking, and snowshoeing before returning to school to pursue post-graduate studies at Colorado State University. Joe then returned to his native state where he earned his veterinary degree from The University of Pennsylvania, School of Veterinary Medicine. In 2003, Joe traveled to Alaska to assist a research team based out of Oklahoma working with the Iditarod sled dogs. After years of working in a busy small animal practice in the Lehigh Valley and in an emergency clinic in Bucks County, Dr. Borthwick joined the staff at Valley Veterinary Clinic in 2010
