Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Katherine A. de Jong graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. In addition to practicing routine small animal medicine and surgery, Dr. de Jong has special interests in veterinary acupuncture, chiropractic, Chinese herbal medicine, and integrative/alternative therapies. She completed her training and certification in veterinary acupuncture through the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society (IVAS). Chiropractic training was completed in 2009. She lives in Delaware County with her husband and three children as well as her black lab, Cyclone. In her spare time, Dr. de Jong enjoys riding her horse Romeo, golf, tennis and reading
