Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Gretchen Muhonen grew up in central Pennsylvania. She graduated from Penn State University in 2007 and received her veterinary medical degree from Ross University in 2011. She has been practicing in central Pennsylvania. Her interests in veterinary medicine include routine and preventative care, soft tissue surgery, and dermatology. After completing his military commitment, Dr. Muhonen's husband John has recently graduated from medical school. Their family, which includes their son Carter, is relocating to the Shenango Valley so that John can complete a surgical residency at UPMC Horizon. Gretchen, John, and Carter enjoy outdoor activities including trail walking, biking, hiking, and camping. The Muhonens share their home with their two cats Nysa and Maggie and their dog Murdock.
