Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Carolyn McKee DePaiva (Dr. McKee) grew up in Blue Bell, PA. She graduated from Princeton University in 2001 with a degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. She received her VMD from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2005 and then completed a one year internship at Bay Area Veterinary Specialists in San Leandro, California.Dr. McKee later returned to Pennsylvania and has worked as a small animal associate veterinarian in the Philadelphia suburbs since 2008.While Dr. McKee enjoys all of her patients, she has a particular fascination with cats and loves discussing all aspects of feline medicine with her clients. Additional professional interests include challenging internal medicine cases, nutrition, and providing care for elderly animals.Dr. McKee currently resides in Lansdale with her husband, young son, and three cats (Buca, LuLu, and Boris). Outside of work, she can be found running (after her son),knitting, and planning her next trip.
