Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Byrd is The Village Veterinarian's part-time veterinarian. She graduated from the New York State College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell Unniversity in 1989. Her major focus in practice is general medicine and soft tissue surgery, but she loves to see that all furry beings are healthy and happy! She has done relief and permanent part-time work at various hospitals in the area. After work, Dr. Byrd enjoys spending time with family and friends, working with local non-profit agencies and her church youth group, and attending cultural activities.Although Dr. Byrd doesn't have any furry friends at home at the moment, she enjoys "shared custody" of a Rottie puppy. She is thrilled to join the team at The Village Veterinarian
