Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Wellens is a 1978 graduate from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. In 1980, he opened Queen Village Animal Hospital in Philadelphia. Dr. Wellens currently divides his time between Queen Village Animal Hospital and Gladwyne Animal Hospital. Dr. Wellens also oversees two animal welfare foundations, the Burket-Plack Foundation and John Paul Family Foundation.
