Veterinarian Overview
Dr. George Jeitles is a 1979 graduate of The University of Pennsylvania, School of Veterinary Medicine. In addition to his veterinary degree, Dr. Jeitles holds a Bachelors degree from Roanoke College and a Masters degree from West Chester University. Dr. Jeitles and his wife Michelle have been married for over 43 years and have four children. The eldest, Jennifer ( Dr. Clarke) followed in her Father's footsteps becoming a veterinarian in 1999. Dr. Jeitles and his wife were active in breeding and showing Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers and Norwich Terriers for over 18 years. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier Club of American and has held various offices, including President, in the Delaware Valley Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier Club. In the past he has served as health chairman for the Norwich and Norfolk Terrier Club of America and the Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier Club of America. 2014 will mark Dr. Jeitles 35th year in practice and although he has been trimming back his schedule he will continue to see patients several days a week. Dr. Jeitles is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, The American Animal Hospital Association, The Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Association, and is a charter member of the Delaware Valley Academy of Veterinary Medicine.
