Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Michelle (Micki) Mooney is a New Jersey native. She attended Rutgers University, where she received a BS in Animal Science with a minor in economics. Dr. Mooney then attended the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Veterinary Medicine and earned her VMD in 2008. Upon graduation, she joined a small animal practice in New York State where she worked for several years. Just prior joining us in 2012, Dr. Mooney was a practicing veterinarian and chief of staff for Banfield Pet Hospital in New Jersey. She is currently a member of the American Animal Hospital Association, American Veterinary Medical Association, International Veterinary Acupuncture Society and the American Academy of Acupuncture. Dr. Mooney takes pleasure in yoga, urban gardening and hiking with her dog Phin.
