Dr. McCue has the kindest heart and is an amazing vet. The fact that he travels from home to home makes life with older dogs so much easier . His wife Donna is also a Godsend. Together they truly are a dynamic duo. I have appreciated their many years of service to the community and to all the rescues we've loved over the years .
We been using Dr. McCue for about 4 or 5 years now. He is very friendly and you can tell he loves animals. My one dog has a fungal problem every fall. He lets us call and order medication instead of making us pay for a visit. I would recommend him to family and friends
Dr McCue is the best vet I know. I had to comment after some of these reviews because my family has been clients of his for over 15 yrs. One misconception people must understand is he is one man, he is not a large practice with several other vets or assistants, Dr McCue
I don’t know if Dr. McCue is a good veterinarian or not. I called and made an appointment for my elderly dog who has hip and back issues from arthritis. I thought it would be better for a veterinarian to come to the house since my dog has difficulty walking on the slippery floors at my normal veterinarian and hates the car. I was waiting by my front door for my 10:45 appointment at 10:30. When Dr McCue had not arrived by 10:50 I wondered if it was too soon to call to see how late he might be. I can be fussy about timeliness and I know that is annoying to others and so I waited to call at 11:00. I got the answering machine. You always get the answering machine. No one ever answers the phone. So I left a message saying that it looks like you are running late do you have an idea what time you will be here. Five minutes later I got a call from the secretary who said that Dr McCue was at my front door at 10:15. OMG I was in the basement and couldn’t hear the doorbell. I asked her why he didn’t call. I had my phone on me and he could have called. I was home. I just couldn’t hear the doorbell and besides that, he was supposed to be there at 10:45. I asked her to reschedule and she said that he can’t come back for 2 weeks. Heaven forbid you have an emergency. Don’t bother. Communication is too difficult. I was told that I had written down the wrong time. The secretary made no attempt to make things right. Like I said, don’t bother calling Dr. McCue.
