Veterinarian Overview
Thomas R. Gondek, DVM is the most recent Veterinarian to join our staff. With over 20 years of experience, he brings greater depth to our team. He is experienced in general small animal practice and enjoys both soft tissue and orthopedic surgery. He has a special interest in endoscopy and bronchoscopy. This is a technique that uses a scope to examine a pet's airways or GI tract under anesthesia without surgery. Recently he has become credentialed through Vet-Stem in regenerative Veterinary Medicine. This is a rapidly growing field of medicine where a pet's own fat cells are collected, sent to the laboratory, and 'reprogrammed' to heal another area of the body such as a damaged joint or ligament. A graduate of Iowa State University's College of Veterinary Medicine, he was born and raised near Buffalo, New York. In his spare time he enjoys wood working, hiking and backpacking, range/target shooting, and collecting old and or antique veterinary related items. He is also a Buffalo Bills and New York Yankee's fan. He has a cat named "Morgan" and a labrador retriever named "Gunner".
