Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Makem rejoined Perkiomen Animal Hospital in May, 2006. She grew up in Allentown and attended Moravian College, where she received her undergraduate degree in biology. A 2001 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Makem, lives in Emmaus with her three dogs and one cat. She is an accomplished horseback rider and regularly competes with her American Saddle bred, Stylish In Black. Dr. Makem has a specific interest in internal medicine.
