Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Patrick Barnes has always had compassion and love for animals and people. He moved to Philadelphia almost 2 years ago. He is the older brother of three younger sisters. Dr. Barnes grew up in the Maryland/ DC area and was a boy scout, and played childhood sports. He remains an active part of the community. In high school, he was drum major in the marching band. Dr. Patrick Barnes graduated in 2004 from Northwestern High school. In 2008 he graduated from North Carolina A&T Stat University cum laude with a degree in Animal Science, and in 2012 fulfilled his child hood dream of becoming a veterinarian. While at Tuskegee Veterinary School, Dr. Barnes served as a class officer on the executive board, and was a member of the Canine Kennel Club, and Lab Animal Club. With the Kennel Club Dr. Barnes learned some of the in and outs of dog showing. Dr. Barnes is an active member of his church, and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. serving on various boards and committees for both. One of the greatest loves that Dr. Barnes has is time spent with family, friends, and pets (all rescues from a school adoption program).
