Veterinarian Overview
Born and raised in Connecticut. He graduated from Elizabethtown College in May 1993 with a degree in biology and a minor in bio-chemistry. Dr. Olson then graduated from Ohio State University, College of Veterinary Medicine in June 1998. He has practiced medicine as an associate veterinarian at the Animal Hospital of Willow Street since July 1999. His areas of professional interest include pocket pet medicine, behavioral studies, exotic, and wildlife medicine, as well as evaluating the best companion for a family. Dr. Olson in June 1993 married his college sweetheart, Jennifer. They welcomed their daughter, Alexis in 2005. They have a cat, Spike, who can be loving but also fiesty if taken out of the home. Dr. Olson is very involved in many aspects of his church, including chairing the youth program and helping with many community outreach programs. He is also the junior/senior Sunday School teacher. When not working, he enjoys spending time with Jennifer and Alexis, as well as reading and watching movies.
