Veterinarian Overview
Owner Dr. Lora Phelps is a native of Upper East Tennessee and a 2002 graduate of the University of Tennessee School of Veterinary Medicine. She began her professional career at the Elizabethton Veterinary Clinic May 2002 and since that time she has developed a reputation as a compassionate and professional General Practitioner. Of the various pieces of technological equipment available at the Elizabethton Veterinary Clinic, the ultrasound equipment is probably her favorite. She avails herself of many sources of continuing education in order to stay proficient in its use. She also enjoys working with exotic pets. Dr Phelps is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Tennessee Veterinary Medical Association, and the Tri-Cities Academy of Veterinary Medicine. She is the mother of one daughter. She and her family and their four dogs and two cats spend enjoyable time at the area lakes. Scuba diving is her favorite pastime.
