Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Mitchell Wilson joined the AMCG Team as an associate veterinarian in June of 2012 after graduating from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2012. She feels that her time in Greeneville has been great thanks to everyone at AMCG and the Greeneville community! As a veterinarian, her special interests are in surgery, ultrasonography and internal medicine. Patient care and comfort is Dr. MitchellÂ’s top priority! During veterinary school, she completed advanced training in performing surgical procedures and diagnostic ultrasound. She also completed a research project related to laparoscopic surgery and presented the results at the 2012 American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine Conference. The paper is currently under review to be published. She also attended the Western Veterinary Conference in February of 2013 and completed advanced training in diagnostic ultrasound. Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Mitchell Wilson enjoys spending time with her husband, T.K. and her friends and family. She has two adorable miniature dachshunds named Tilly Jo and Cinnimin and a Labrador named Dubs. She also enjoys horseback riding, gardening, baking, traveling and exercising. She is looking forward to continuing to provide the best veterinary care to patients and clients in the Greeneville area for many years to come!
