Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Todd McCoy completed his undergraduate studies in Biology and Archaeology at the University of Houston where he earned a Bachelors degree in Biology in 1995. He graduated from the Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. He spent the next several years acquiring advanced training in veterinary dentistry and developing a general practice with a strong emphasis in veterinary dentistry. He began a residency program in Veterinary Dentistry and Oral Surgery in January 2011, and completed the program in June of 2013.His special interests are periodontal disease, endodontics, and oral surgery. Dr. McCoy is a member of the American Veterinary Dental Society, Texas Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Veterinary Medical Association.Dr. McCoy and his wife, Stephanie have three children and a Yorkshire terrier named Woody. Dr. McCoys hobbies include kayaking and learning how to play the acoustic guitar. Dr. McCoy also enjoys participating in scouting activities with his son. When he is not involved in his childrens extra-curricular activities or church activities, Dr. McCoy enjoys spending time exploring nature.
