Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Lash received his bachelors degree from Pennsylvania State University, and earned his VMD degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1960. He practiced briefly in Bedford, PA, until he returned to his hometown of Kittanning and opened his own practice in 1963. He currently sees only small animal patients, but spent many years in mixed practice tending to companion animals and livestock. He is interested in all areas of medicine and animal culture, and is especially skilled in surgery. Dr. Lash has been married to Carolyn Murphy for 55 years. Together, they live near Kittanning and enjoy spending time with their four children, five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild; farming; and a variety of outdoor sports.
