Sandy Knowles was somewhat rude and seemed to be in a rush. She was not very polite and came across as if she was having a bad day. She did not address my concerns, nor did she make me feel at ease. I took my Frenchie in because she has what appears to be an Interdigital cyst between one of her paws (I am not a doctor so just relying on what Googe provided me) Sandy did not confirm or deny what it was, nor did she give me her professional opinion. She said that they would need to take a sample via a needle and send it to the lab for analysis. I had to ask if we could try antibiotics first before we put my little one through a lot of traumas. (My Frenchie has a lot of anxiety at the vet, which I had told Sandy). She said, "I guess we can try that first" and then told me the prescriptions that they would provide for me. I asked can you just write the prescription and I will have them filled myself. Sandy said you have to get them here as nowhere else carries them in the dosage I am subscribing. So, I was pushed into a corner and had no choice but to get them there. After leaving the Vet hospital I went to my car to call Costco to see if what Sandy said was true. To my disbelief, Costco said that they did have them at the required dosage prescribed by Sandy. However, the cost was over 60% cheaper than what the vet was going to charge me. Sandy simply lied to me! Time to change Vet doctor or even change Vet Hospital. I know Vet Hospitals try to upsell, but they should give the patient the option to purchase elsewhere and if not available anywhere else then they can return back to the Veterinarian and have then filled.
