Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Ramsey is a native of Southern California. His undergraduate degree in Animal Science was earned at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. He completed his veterinary degree at St. Georges University and his clinical year at Oklahoma State University. Dr. Ramsey spent several summers working at various animal hospitals in Orange County. One summer was spent doing research for a digital x-ray company and developing the application of mobile radiography equipment for veterinarians. He also completed an externship at the world-renowned Alamo Pintado Equine Medical Center. He experienced a summer working at his familys cheese factory and swine farm in Switzerland. Upon graduation, he worked as a veterinarian in Wisconsin for one year. All these wonderful experiences have prepared him for his career as a veterinarian. Dr. Ramsey is the youngest of four sons and enjoys all athletic competition, especially football. He has traveled to almost every state in the U.S. In his spare time, Dr. Ramsey enjoys the beach, hiking along the coast, fishing in Mammoth, and traveling. He had an awesome dog, Toby, who gave him 16 years of great enjoyment. He now has a 9-year- old Labrador named Carrgo. He is passionate about his care for all animals and has enjoyed working at San Clemente Veterinary Hospital since 2015.
