Veterinarian Overview
A Native of Oxford, Dr. Wilson began working part-time at the Animal Clinic of Oxford while in high school. She graduated from Oxford High School in 1992 and then attended Mississippi State University, earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1999. After graduation, Dr. Wilson spent over six years practicing at a clinic north of Atlanta, Georgia, focusing on small animal care. In 2006, she returned to Oxford and the Animal Clinic of Oxford. Dr. Wilsons husband, Britt, is a native of Pontotoc, Mississippi, and is employed by The Stanley Works Company. Their daughter Loughran was born in October 2008. They have two chocolate Labrador Retrievers, Hershey and Sadie. Dr. Wilson enjoys spending time with Britt, Loughran, and their two labs, as well as cooking, reading, and quilting. They are members of Oxford-University United Methodist Church. Dr. Wilsons special interests in the veterinary field are endocrinology and feline medicine.
