Veterinarian Overview
Mark W. Hanlon, VMD graduated from Eastern University with an undergraduate degree in Chemistry. After working in the precious metals industry for seven years, he decided to pursue his dream of becoming a veterinarian. In 1993, he graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvanias School of Veterinary Medicine, receiving several awards for excellence. After working in Harleysville and Allentown, Dr. Hanlon purchased Gilbertsville Veterinary Hospital in 2003. His interests outside of work include competing in triathlons and adventure races, reading and spending time with his family. Dr. Hanlon has been married 27 years to his wife, Diane, and is the proud father of three children. They have two orange tiger cats Joshua and Jeremiah, and two Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldogs Mary Grace and Gabriel Joseph.
