Veterinarian Overview
Hi! Im Dr. Jo Parr. I joined the Neffsville Veterinary Clinic in 2016. I was born in England and immigrated to the United States in 1990, growing up mostly in the greater Philadelphia area. My early interest in veterinary medicine led me to pursue an undergraduate degree from Penn State University and subsequently a veterinary degree from the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, I practiced both emergency and primary care medicine in the York and Elizabethtown areas. While loving all aspects of veterinary medicine, my special interests include emergency medicine, surgery, geriatric medicine and caring for our working dogs. My husband (a fellow Penn Stater) and I reside in the Elizabethtown area with our three energetic, rescue dogs named Karma, Knightmare (long story) and Ella. We both enjoy playing soccer, snowboarding, scuba diving and taking our motley crew hiking.
