Veterinarian Overview
Dr. M. Borden Loving, co-owner, was born in Richmond, Virginia, but grew up in New Hope, PA. She attended the University of Colorado in Boulder and Delaware Valley College and acquired her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science. Then she attended Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to veterinary school, she worked as an elephant handler for a small family owned circus where she also dealt with many types of hoof stock such as camels and also worked with primates and exotic birds. After that, she worked for several private zoos and farms. In her spare time, Dr. Loving enjoys scuba diving and working for Sunken Treasure Scuba Center, horseback riding, landscaping, traveling, and spending time with her own animals; including a blind horse herd and miniature donkeys. She also assists with a Border Collie Rescue. Appointments can be made with her at our Lewisburg or Mifflinburg Office.
